INTERVIEW: Psquare, 2face and Asa Inspire Me, @Officialh5ive

Ibrahim Hammed Olanrewaju popularly known as H5ive is a young talented R & B, Hip Hop singer based in the city of Ogun State. He speaks on his plans for his next album and other issues in the industry

How did you come about the stage name H5ive?

The name was coined from my real name Hammed, with the numbers of the
 alphabets that follow the "H"



How did you become a singer?

My love for music started during my teenage years, at age 13, I formed a group called famous guys, we released an track entitled move your body in 2005. While I was growing up, I like to listen and mimicking both local and foreign music, my environment at that time also played
 a vital role in helping me to discover my musical talent with the support of my brother who encouraged me.

Who are your role models in the industry?

I have a special regards for Psquare, 2face, Asa, their musical lyrics are always meaningful.

 
How do you make your own beat?
I do make my own beat but not all the time, I also invite other producers to my studio or go to theirs.

What new project are you currently working on?

I am working on a song entitled born to be great it will be released into the market soon with its video, am very sure I will get a positive feedback from my fans, also working on the remix of my
 song, Jasikolobo, with an A list artiste, I also have great songs waiting to be released.

Who would you like among the Nigerian artistes to feature with?

They are many but let me mention a few, Psquare, 2face, Tiwa Savage, MI, Yung6 and Olamide.

Am assuring all my fans that they will definitely get the best from me this year.
